Oh the stories I could tell.

When people look at Europe, they largely skip over the former USSR blocs in favor of Oktoberfest in Germany and the night sky of Paris. All noble choices, but I encourage you to look further afield – Serbia, Bosnia, Estonia – these places will give you stories that will not involve throngs of tacky tourists, but genuine encounters.
